New Pre-Professional Ballet School comes to Bloomingdale
Steven Norman, formerly of The San Francisco Ballet is realizing his dream of owning a Pre-Professional Ballet School, The Chicago School of Ballet. Steve brought his school to Bloomingdale, Il. because he feels there are many amazing schools available in the City and he wanted to make great teachers and training available to students in the Suburbs. "Bloomingdale is such a great family community" said Steve, "We are excited to draw talent from all over the Suburbs".
The Chicago School of Ballet or "CSB" is located at 162 E. Lake St. Suite C. They are a newly remodeled School with three large studios. The the School welcomes dancers of all levels who want to take their dancing to the next level in a warm, professional environment. The faculty of CSB is second to none. All Instructors have danced or our currently dancing professionally in the genre of which they teach which is rarely seen at other schools, including Owner/Director Steve Norman who had a 26 year ballet career at Houston Ballet and The San Francisco Ballet, Mme Peff Modelski who had a 46 year dance career in New York City, Tatyana Mazur from the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Russia and Margaret Palmer, a founding member of River North Dance Company in Chicago to name a few.
